My in-person two-day Animal Reiki and half-day Equine Acupressure classes offer gentle ways for you to actively support the health of the animals in your life. These energetic, non-invasive practices bring ease, peace, and healing—to both the animals and you. Let Animals Lead®
My Animal Reiki classes follow the Let Animals Lead® method by Kathleen Prasad, grounded in traditional Japanese Reiki teachings. You’ll learn to offer Reiki in a gentle, animal-led and heart-centered approach that honors each animal and their well-being, independence, and choices.
Level 1 and 2 classes are held over two days, and Level 3 is three days, from 9:30–5:00. Classes are spaced one week apart to give you time to practice, integrate the teachings, spend additional time with animals, and note any questions that arise. Each class includes ample time to practice with animals. You will receive a comprehensive manual and a certificate of completion. 25% of all proceeds are donated to a charity of my choice. Students who want to repeat a class receive a 50% discount.
Let Animals Lead® Animal Reiki Levels 1–3
Level 1 lays the foundation for meditating with animals and developing a daily practice rooted in mindful presence, compassion, and healing—for yourself and the animals you love. Level 2 deepens this work through advanced practices that support inner growth and a more intimate connection with animals. Level 3 expands your practice into a way of BEing Reiki in daily life, enriching your experiences with animals and all that you do in life. As your teacher, I will be with you every step of the way on your Animal Reiki journey.
Animal Reiki Level 1
Beginning your Reiki journey with animals
This two-day class is for animal lovers who wish to support their spiritual development and well-being, along with the animals in their circle of life—at home, in shelters or rescues, or at work. After completing this class, you’ll be able to offer Reiki to animals in a gentle, respectful way using various meditation practices.
In this class you will:
Explore and practice Japanese Reiki teachings and meditations that support calm, presence, and compassion.
Foster heart-to-heart connections with animals while honoring their comfort, choices, and independence.
Work with the three Japanese energy centers to heighten sensitivity to the Reiki energy and strengthen your own inner light.
Learn and practice hand positions for self-care, as well as for family and friends.
Learn the steps and the ethical guidelines of the Let Animals Lead® approach.

Animal Reiki Level 2
Deepening presence, connection, and practice with animals
This two-day class is for those ready to deepen their Reiki practice, expand their inner awareness, and strengthen their connection with animals. Through advanced teachings and guided practice, you’ll continue your own spiritual growth while developing the skills to offer Reiki to animals with greater confidence and clarity. After completing this class, if you feel called to do so, you will have the foundation needed to offer Reiki professionally.
In this class you will:
Learn the first three Japanese Reiki symbols and mantras and how to work with their energies.
Practice advanced Japanese Reiki meditations to support deeper presence and inner awareness.
Expand your ability to meet animals with grounded presence, respect, compassion, and trust.
Strengthen your awareness of how animals communicate through behavior and choice.
Learn techniques to offer Reiki to animals not physically present.
Before class, you’ll receive four lessons (once a week) to help prepare your heart and mind.

Animal Reiki Level 3
Living and BEing Reiki
This three-day class is for those who wish to bring their Reiki practice into all aspects of daily life—within healing sessions and in all that you do. To "Be Reiki."
You will learn to develop a state of BEing: a mindful, grounded, and present way of living that softens anger and worry while cultivating compassion. This practice supports your own healing while fostering deeper presence, healing, and connection with animals.
For those who feel called, this training also offers certification as a Let Animals Lead® Animal Reiki teacher.
In this class you will:
Review Levels 1 and 2.
Learn the fourth Reiki symbol and its mantra.
Understand what it means to Be Reiki.
Learn how to perform reiju (Spiritual Blessing).
Practice guided meditations with animals.
Before class, you’ll receive four lessons (once a week) to help prepare your heart and mind.

Prerequisite: Let Animals Lead® Animal Reiki Level 2 certification
Equine Acupressure Basics classes
Learn the foundations of Equine Acupressure, a gentle, non-invasive technique from Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses light, intentional touch to support balance, relaxation, and overall wellness of mind, body, and spirit in horses and other equines. Build your skills, strengthen the bond with your equine, and help them stay healthy, comfortable, and vital.
Prior experience with equines is required. You will receive a handout for at-home practice and a certificate of completion.
Private group classes at your barn are also available (see below).
Equine Acupressure Basics
This five-hour introductory class gives you new ways to support your equine’s well-being while deepening your connection. You’ll learn how to offer gentle, effective hands-on care that supports your equine’s comfort, balance, and overall health. Classes include plenty of guided, hands-on practice and time for questions.
In this class you will:
Learn what equine acupressure is and how it works.
Discover the benefits of acupressure.
Explore guidelines to create a safe, compassionate space and an effective outcome.
Practice methods to foster willingness and connection with your equine partner.
Learn acupressure techniques for common concerns: hoof discomfort, colic support, anxiety, and back and hip tension.
Gain skills, understanding, and confidence to support your equine’s comfort, balance, and well-being.
